OIC Summer Retreat at 48 Falls, Sept 4-5
Come and join the time of refreshing!
Again this year, We will return to our favorite retreat spot, the 48 Falls. Together we will enjoy beauty of God's creation, share His Word, and extended time of fellowship!

Sunday Worship
Every Sunday, 10:00 a.m.: English worship service, with simultaneous translation into Japanese available through wireless receivers as well as Japanese sign language interpretation for the deaf. Fellowship time afterwards on the third floor.

Wednesday Worship
Wednesday, 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. (Starting September 1st): Come join us for our new 5 week series - "Struggles of the Heart." This series will focus on the various struggles we and so many of those around us face through life. Matters dealing with anger, pain, bitterness, emptiness, hopelessness, loneliness, and guilt will be examined. If you or someone you know is struggling or if you simply just want to be prepared... please consider joining us for a time of worship, teaching, discussion, and prayer.

Saturday Worship
Saturday evening at 6:30 p.m.: Completely bilingual worship service - songs and message in both Japanese and English. Great for people who work on Sunday, people who want to hear both languages, or for "night people".

Children's Sunday School
Every Sunday, 10:15-11:30 a.m.: At 10:00 a.m. please take your children with you to the main worship service on the first floor. After the first praise song time, the children will go to Sunday School.
Junior (age 3 through elementary school): OCC Rooms 301 and 302, weekly
(2-year-old children may also attend if accompanied by a parent)
Senior (junior high and high school): OCC Room 407, about once a month |
Sunday Morning Prayer
Every Sunday, 8:30-9:00 a.m.: A chance to spiritually prepare for the Sunday worship service and to intercede for the people serving and the people attending.

Wednesday Prayer
Every Wednesday, 12:30 p.m.-13:30 p.m.: Intercede for newcomers to OIC, prayer requests written on "My Voice" cards, and other known needs in the congregation.

Biblical Perspectives on "The Shack"
3rd Saturday, 5:00 p.m.: (English) We discuss the book "The Shack" from the perspective of the Bible, pray for each other's needs, and eat a potluck dinner together.

Women's Home Sharon-kai
1st Sunday, 1:00-3:00 p.m.: (Bilingual) We eat obento lunches together (you can buy one at Family Mart across the street), sing praise songs, discuss a topic led by a different lady each month, and pray for each other.

Hebrews (bilingual study)
Every Thursday, 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.: (Bilingual) Each week we listen to an English tape of one chapter from Hebrews, read the scripture in both English and Japanese, and then discuss it.

Study in Acts w/Video
Every Wednesday, 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.: (Video in English, discussion bilingual) We watch a video of the Book of Acts, discuss it, and learn how to apply it to our daily lives. on Summer Break, will resume on Sept 8th.

1st & 3rd Saturdays, 2:00-4:00 p.m.: (Japanese) Halleluiah! Praise the name of the Lord.
We are studying book of Acts on 1st & 3rd Saturdays from 2pm to 4pm. It is at Danilo and Chiwa's place in Kitahorie, Nishi-ku. Together we study, share, and pray for each other. Whether you are a Christian or not, please come and join us! Praise God for where we gather He is also present and at work! Matthew 18:20
